Due to the onset of Parkinsons Disease, Kenneth Denton has now retired
from painting.
However he still lives a full and interesting life attending musical recitals and creating exhibition panels of Marbling
and Graining which many would agree are works of art in
their own right.
A small selection of paintings is still available via
Newman Saunders gallery in the USA (see links) and also via
himself which may be viewed by appointment
A significant number of paintings has been stolen whilst in the
custody of Marin Price Galleries of 7022 Wisconsin Avenue, Chevy Chase,
Maryland 20815. This theft has been reported to the Art Loss Register
who are currently investigating this further in conjunction with Law Enforcement
Agencies and the Gallery Owner.
We would encourage anybody who may have
purchased a painting from this source or general geographic area to
contact either ourselves or
Mr Chris Marinello of the
Art Loss Register
for a formal verification of ownership.
Paintings we
believe to have been stolen are listed with the Art Loss Register which will also prevent future public resale and will also be liable to seizure and return to the Artist as the original owner.
We will happily provide a formal receipt of ownership for anyone who contacts us for
verification of their painting.
Kenneth's wife
Margaret Denton, tragically lost her life in a a car accident on 11th
November 2006. Much loved and missed by her family, she provided both
inspiration and encouragement to Ken in his career during their 49 years
of marriage.
